Why Does It Sound When I Replace It With A New One?

Dec. 17, 2019

In the automatic gear model, when the brakes in the D gear are about to move or the brakes are about to stop, the sound of a rattling sound will be produced. This is because an automatic vehicle always has a reverse when it is in the D or R gear. The force squeezes the brake discs on the drive wheels, while the manual gear will only loosen on slopes or occasionally hear abnormal noises when the brakes are pressed.

When the automatic transmission is half-braking, the car is already powered, but the brake pads are still half-brake. At this time, the friction between the brake pads and the caliper is very large. Resonance, there will be a gurgling sound. The same sound will occur when reversing. Manual transmissions are generally not available because there is no need to apply the brakes when starting.

So why does it sound after replacing the new brake pads? Hummer Brake Pad Manufacturer will tell you next.

Inspection Method:

Raise the car, then use the tire lever to pry the wheel and the arm to check whether the front suspension hem arm bushing is damaged. Judge the wear of the rubber sleeve. If the rubber sleeve is found to be damaged, use the wooden wedge method, and test to determine whether the fault exists. After changing the original factory or brand rubber sleeves, remember to perform four-wheel positioning for the vehicle.

There are many possible problem possibilities:

1. Caused by the sound of friction between the brake pads and the disc.

2. There are foreign objects between the brake discs.

3. Reasons for the quality of the brake shoe, high metal content or poor quality, and excessive friction material.

4. The middle of the brake disc is protruded and the degree of loneliness is too large. It will be irregular or abnormal due to the use of time, and caused by abnormal contact friction with (new replacement of brake pads);

5. The abnormal fixing pin hole of the brake cylinder is naturally worn, and the spring pressing piece loses its elasticity; the piston telescopically stagnates, rusts or is not flexible, which produces abnormal noises.

6. The brake system lacks brake fluid;

7. Abnormal deformation of the brake disc and mudguard. The reverse direction of the brake disc produces close friction with the brake disc.

It also does not rule out the possibility of other parts or components, and the actual test results shall prevail. In particular, when the cold car starts and the hot car is not enough, the car quickly reverses, and the brakes are more likely to sound. This is not abnormal. Many different brands of cars are the same. It is not a problem, such as the Ford USA Brake Pad.

When the brakes make abnormal noises, the car does not experience vibrations, abnormal shocks, the inertia on both sides of the car is balanced, and the four corners of the car do not feel sinking. None of the above points can be ruled out. Possibly, if "the sound comes from the Tongli Rushing Building," then it is not just the reverse that is problematic. The car does not brake when it passes through the speed reduction belt, but also has abnormal noises, and the direction is unstable.

Except that there are no abnormal sounds at the same time, then there is nothing wrong with the vehicle itself. You can only check the new brake pads if the friction material is hard or does not completely fit. You must run in to eliminate the abnormal sounds. Of course, if you are unsure of your own judgment, you can carefully check the root cause of the problem several times.
